The 7th edition of the MENORCA INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL CAMP is here! From August 3rd to 7th in Alaior (Menorca).

#MIBC is the leading international basketball camp in Menorca. Technical and tactical training sessions in the mornings, and competitions and an internal league in the afternoons, with an intensive schedule from 9am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm.

The Menorca International Basketball Camp will be back this August in Alaior (Menorca).
Practice with pro players and coaches which are specialized in all the different game situations.
Play in one of the best facilities of Menorca and compete with players of your age/level from all over Menorca, Spain and other countries.

HOW WAS BALLERS BORN?
The beginnings of Ballers United Academy take us to the 2019 summer when two coaches and friends, from Greece and Barcelona, were in the greek shore of Haikidiki.
They both took part in several editions of an Italian international Camp, the WBSC Supercamp. This way they decided to create a basketball camp where basketball and English stay together.
From the first moment, the aid of CB Jovent, from Alaior (Menorca), was essential to make our dream come true.
Therefore, the 2020 summer, although it was a difficult year due to the Covid-19, we got lucky and we could move forward with the first edition of #MIBC with around 40 players. One year later, 2021 summer, we almost reached the amount of 70 players and, that same Christmas, we brought the international basketball to the Island of Menorca with the Menorca Camp Xmas Edition. The last edition was in the summer of 2022 when we had 90 players from different places and when we had our Christmas edition.
We hope keep counting more editions and contributing to grow and improve the basketball in the island of Menorca.

OBJECTIVES
To enjoy playing basketball with other players.

To improve the individual skills that are aimed at the different game situations.
​
To increase tactic ability of the players so as to read better the game.
​
To use the English language as a tool to communicate with the coaches.
​
To be aware of the importance of acquiring healthy and sportive habits.
​
To learn not only basketball but socialize with players and coaches in a really good basketball atmosphere.

FACILITIES

The trainings take place in the facilities of CB Jovent, "Pavelló Municipal d'Alaior" and "Pavelló Miquel Guàrdia". We also count with two extra indoor courts.
